  3.   this a prerelease of GNUPLOT 3.0 for the Atari ST.
  4. It includes only the patches to to original sources based on GNUPLOT 3.0
  5. patchlevel 1. (It really does, this time)
  6. The complete sources can be obtained at the sites mentionend in the file
  7. README.org.

  9. This is NOT an official GNUPLOT release. The changes might get included in
  10. future patchlevels of GP.

  18. one additional comment:

  20. one of the supplied demos (bivariat) requires a huge stack to run. I forgot
  21. to set this in the first distribution of GNUPLOT. Apologies to anyone who
  22. FTP'ed the first version.

  24. The stack is currently set to 80k which is sufficient for all demos. everything
  25. except bivariat should run with 32k of stack. (you can change this with the
  26. FIXSTK utility that comes with GCC).

  30. this is a revised version of the gnuplot release. This executable is the
  31. same as in the last version, but this time I didn't forget to include the
  32. diff file.

  36. Newer Versions of GNUPLOT:

  38. As of this writing, there already exists a gnuplot 3.2 version. The changes
  39. in the new version are not that important for the Atari port and I don't think
  40. I will find the time to release a 3.2 ST version. Starting with Version 3.3
  41. the official release of the GNUPLOT sources will include the Atari version.
  42. As soon as this is out of the beta stage, expect a new and improved Atari
  43. version from me.
